Experimental results

As one of the first steps in the development of the extrinsic probe technique (ITCF) intrinsic and extrinsic measurements of PET were performed and compared either online (left figure) and offline (bottom).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For fibres of different draw ratios both kinds of measurements were compared with the conventional method, that provides relative high measurement error

 

 

 

A comparison of online and offline measurements of PA6 fibres (extrinsic) demonstrates the structural changes in PA6 after production.

 

 

 

For PA6.6 also changes in orientation values are observed (after 7 days). The values are not simply shifted as with PA6, but are changing in dependency of initial orientation values.

 

 

 

Structural changes after fibre production are also observable in PP.
